How is Amazing Registry different from all the other universal wedding registries out there?
We combine your existing wedding registries from the stores you have registered at, and when a gift gets bought from one of them in a store, it shows up as purchased on your Amazing Registry.
All the other universal registries let you add any gift from any store, but you are not actually registered at that store. We let you do that too through our partner, Amazon.com, but it is not the core focus of our registry program.
Will Amazing Registry recognize all my existing wedding registries?
Yes. It will. You do NOT have to create new wedding registries.
How often does Amazing Registry synchronize with my wedding registries?
We sync up with your registries at each store:
- At least once per 3 hours
- Once per hour for the next 24 hours if someone visited your wedding registry
- Once per 5 minutes if someone clicked on a gift in the last hour
- Once per hour if someone purchased something off of it (including not through amazing registry) in the last day
You can also log in and click the 'Refresh your registry for updates and changes' button to force your registries to refresh.
Will I still be able to participate in the wedding registry completion programs?
Yes. You are still registered at the store, and you get all the benefits of being registered there.
Will my grandma be able to buy a gift in the store? Will it show up as purchased on my Amazing Registry?
Yes and Yes. Your grandma will be able to get a print out of your wedding registry at the store, and buy you a gift. The store will mark it purchased on your registry with them, and Amazing Registry will follow suit automatically.
